Woot Woot! I made it to Day 10 of Chicember. I am going to keep checking in on my blog until December 25th, then Centering My Chi is going on vacation mode until 2021 (unless something pops up). I feel the daily check-ins are helping me to be more “free” with my thoughts. I’m not wide open, but I think if I kept this up, I could see myself sharing more in addition to learning more…if that makes sense.
Maintaining
One thing about logging into my blog everyday has shown me, is that I need to clean up the backend and do some maintenance. I just need to set aside time to get things together, because I’m seeing all types of red in my dashboard that need attention. I’ll save my blog maintenance chat for another day though.
Lights
We finally got new Christmas lights today. Joseph wanted to put up color lights this year instead of my “boring” white lights, so I told him that he could have this year, but next year, I’m calling the shots. While we were putting up lights on the bushes, Yoko stood guard, like the protective guard dog she is. It was cold out, so she put on her Santa gear, and she was in full blown Christmas guard dog spirit! LOL. Look at her making sure no one is creeping up on us.
What Else
I’m trying to remember what else I did today…Oh, I had to take Yoko to the vet this morning, which she hates. Then I washed her, which she also hates. Then I had a couple of meetings and phone calls, which were semi-productive. So I would say, I accomplished quite a bit today.
My expectations for what I do in a day have been pretty low lately. But the good thing about that, is when I do one thing, I feel like I conquered the world. I DID THAT!
I forget if I mentioned it, but we got our tree yesterday…but it’s not decorated. That is my plan for the weekend–to decorate the tree.
That’s all I have. I’m done for the day. I’ll check back in tomorrow on FriYAY!
xo,
Che
