It’s September! Can you believe it?!

Rapid Days

The days are still rolling up into one big ball! There is no other way to describe it. I wake up, then it’s the next day. This year, 2020, is going by rapidly. I almost feel like I’m short on time during the day as well. I know this is due to me trying to get my Etsy Shop up and running while trying to do other stuff. I’ve only been feeling short on time the last few days, because I have other things I need to prioritize, but setting up a small business is so fun…and time consuming!

Etsy Shop Drama!

Ok, I’m being dramatic, because there really is no drama. But in short, I had to change my business printing partner during mid-setup, and that meant that I had to go back and redo some things in my Etsy store, such as re-listing products. This probably doesn’t mean anything to you, but this took a lot of time out of my day. I’ve said it before, but I just want to create…the uploading art to a website and administrative part, not so much. I’m learning a lot, but I’m not sure how far I want to go with this. But I do love sharing my art with others, and it is fun. So, if you haven’t done so, please check out my Etsy store, Centering My Chi-Sticker Shop and “favorite” it (by clicking the heart near the store profile) to help my store ranking. Also, let me know if there is something you want to see, that is not yet in the store, and maybe I’ll add it. It’s honestly really fun making these designs.

Home Improvement?

We are debating if we should do some more home improvements. I’m not sure if it is out of boredom, or if it is because we are just spending more time in the house, and therefore looking a bit closer at what’s wrong with the house. Either way, I’m itching to do something around here. I’m not going anywhere anytime soon, so I might as well make it look cute around here. Hopefully, I can provide some sort update on this subject. Stay tuned!

Tea(chi)ng Tuesday Update

I had my heart on blogging more, but I’m just glad I’m able to post this much because on my first Teaching Tuesday post, I set a goal to post twice a week. I wrote that blog post about six months ago before this whole ‘Rona thing went down, and I did NOT meet that goal, but I am proud that I posted as much as I did. I mean, there has been a lack of inspiration this year. I was (still am) as focused as can be given the circumstances, so for that, I am proud. On average, I post about once a week, so I’m going to keep this same energy for the next six months, and then do another “how am I doing with blogging” check-in in March.

What Else?

Honestly, I haven’t been doing much besides regular work stuff, making stuff, blogging, checking in on loved ones, tinkering with my Etsy shop and just counting my blessings. I’ve also been working on a few projects that I hope to share in the future. Anyhoo. That’s all I have for today.

xo,
Che
